Downer is seeking candidates from all backgrounds with Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors who want to contribute to Defence capability in a high-performing, inclusive team.What you'll do and bring will align with the responsibilities and qualifications below.What You'll DoThis role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:Maintain, test, inspect and repair fire detection and suppression systems in line with Australian Standards, Defence requirements and manufacturer specificationsComplete scheduled maintenance activities and respond to corrective maintenance tasksEnsure all records and test results are completed accurately and entered into systemsLiaise with Defence representatives regarding system status, maintenance requirements and outagesEnsure compliance with essential service maintenance requirements and certification processesWhat You'll BringCertificate III in Fire Systems Testing and InspectionsQBCC Fire Protection Licence (QLD), or FPAS Accreditation (NSW)Industry experience in fire systems inspection, testing, maintenance and repairAbility to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required)Current Open Driver's LicenceMore than anything, you'll bring a robust work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.Why Downer?
