About the Role
Under the strategy for public education, there are significant opportunities to explore, test and implement new education models to improve experiences and outcomes for children and young people in South Australia. Future Education Models, Priorities exists to respond to existing innovations emerging and reimagine future innovations based on insights and engagement with schools and preschools, industry, experts and the community in which the school or preschool exists.
The Project Officer, Community Insights is accountable to the Project Manager, Community Insights to support activities to gain community insights for Future Education Models Priorities and inform appropriate decision‑making to support new approaches to education and policy reform.
The Project Officer drives proactive and responsive approaches, with a strong focus on enabling reform in complex environments.

Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed, which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO6 $98,478 – $104,165 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
