Surveillance Officer Casual – Expression of Interest
We are currently seeking an individual with a consistently high level of attention to detail to join our team CASUAL as a Surveillance Officer.
Cards on the table – The role
As Surveillance Officer, you will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Surveillance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining surveillance over gaming tables and other areas of the casino primarily via closed circuit television equipment. Surveillance Operator detect, record and report illegal as well as unusual activity.
To be considered for this position you will be:
* Critical Thinking- Demonstrated ability to using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
* Judgement and Decision Making- Considering the various options, identify and implement the most appropriate solution to the issue.
* Relationship Management- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
* An individual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Previous experience in either Casino Gaming and/or Surveillance would be an advantage.
* Proficient in written and spoken English.
* Be available to work on days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
Requirements:
Due to the nature of these roles, all applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents or have an unrestricted right to work indefinitely in Australia and be 18 years or older to apply. You must also be available to work on a rotating 24/7 shift work roster on an ongoing basis.
