About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Chef to join the team at Dubbo RSL Club Group, a vibrant and dynamic organisation located in Dubbo, NSW. This is a full‐time role, providing you the chance to launch your career in the hospitality industry and develop your culinary skills under the guidance of experienced chefs.
What you'll be doing
* Assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of a wide range of high‐quality dishes for the club's restaurant and function menus
* Follow recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistent, delicious and visually appealing meals
* Maintain a clean and well‐organised work environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
* Participate in training programs and work closely with senior chefs to expand your culinary knowledge and techniques
* Contribute to the development of new menu items and assist with menu planning
* Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for all guests

* A passion for food and a keen interest in pursuing a career as a chef
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced, team‐oriented environment
* A willingness to learn, take direction and continuously improve your culinary skills
* Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team
* The ability to work split shifts and weekends when required
