St Mary's Anglican Girls' School is an independent day and boarding school for over 1450 girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. We provide girls with opportunities to pursue personal and academic excellence in a respectful and supportive environment.
We are looking for an experienced teacher for this full-time, fixed-term role commencing Term 4 2026. The role will continue through to December 2027, with the possible opportunity for ongoing employment.
Responsibilities
* Teach Year 7 English and HASS, with primary responsibility for the pastoral care of a Year 7 class
* May also teach English and/or HASS for Years 8–10
* Collaborate with the Year 7 teaching team to deliver core subjects including English, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Mathematics
* Work alongside specialist teachers who deliver Year 7 Art, Physical Education, Music, Religious Studies, Digital Technologies and Languages
Qualifications
* Experienced teacher, preferably with experience teaching Years 7–10
* Understanding of educational issues in an all-girls environment is highly regarded
* Ability to teach across core subjects (English, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Mathematics)
