About us:
The Paediatric and Adolescent Department provide evidence-based care to Children and Young People from the Cairns and Hinterland Community.
We accept and care for many specialities including general medical, respiratory, endocrinology, mental health, surgical, orthopaedic and ENT.
All nursing staff employed within the department will work across the Paediatric Department (Paediatric Ward, Adolescent Ward, Paediatric Oncology and Paediatric Outpatients).
Note that you may be deployed to other areas within your scope as required.
About your role:
* Delivery of service to an allocated patient load under the guidance of a Registered Nurse
* Routine patient cares including assistance with activities of daily living.
* Patient assessment from 0-18yrs across all specialities and implementation of risk management and care plans.
