ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of a close-knit team, you'll be hands-on across the weekly payroll cycle and will play a key role in ensuring our team members are paid accurately and on time, every time.
* Be involved with the full function end-to-end weekly payroll process.
* Apply and interpret the General Retail Industry Award and relevant Enterprise Agreements to provide clear guidance.
* Partner with leaders and team members nationally to resolve pay queries with a solutions-first approach.
* Maintain strong governance across payroll data, variations and approvals (because the little things are the big things).
* Contribute to continuous improvement, streamlining processes, tightening controls and lifting the team member experience.
ABOUT YOU
You're a detail driven payroll professional who brings a customer mindset to internal service. You're organised, accountable and you take pride in being the person others can rely on when it matters.
You'll bring:
* You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Payroll Officer role.
* Strong time management and the ability to juggle deadlines in a weekly cycle.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.
* Confidence working autonomously, while being a genuine team player.
* Clear communication skills and the ability to translate "payroll-speak" into practical answers.
