Urgent requirement of Business Analyst (Supply chain freight management and logistics industry) - Contract - Melbourne Requirements Required Technical Skill Set: Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Freight Management domains. Strong understanding of: o End-to-end transportation lifecycle o Freight order management o Carrier onboarding and management o Route planning & optimization o Logistics operations KPIs and SLAs Experience working on TMS or logistics transformation programs. Strong expertise in Agile and/or hybrid delivery models. Experience with requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.). Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity Collaborative, proactive, and delivery-driven Customer and outcome-focused approach Must Have: Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Freight Management domains. Elicit and analyse business requirements across supply chain, freight, and logistics operations. Define and document BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with business, operations, and IT teams to translate logistics needs into system solutions. Support TMS, transportation, and logistics transformation initiatives. Manage requirement prioritisation, scope, and traceability in Agile delivery models. Support SIT/UAT, business validation, and golive readiness. Serve as a trusted advisor to business and operational leadership. Communicate complex logistics concepts in a clear and structured manner to technical and non-technical audiences. Work effectively in multi-vendor, onshore–offshore delivery models. Good to Have: Experience with leading TMS platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder, SAP TM, Manhattan, Oracle). Knowledge of integration patterns (APIs, microservices) across supply chain systems. Exposure to analytics, reporting, and logistics performance dashboards. Experience in large-scale enterprise or multi-vendor transformation programs. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (Chain of Responsibility, safety, regulatory reporting).
