What You Will Do
You will provide clinical pharmacy services as an integral member of the patient care team, ensuring best practice in therapeutics and medication accuracy during transitions of care. You will participate in after-hours and on-call pharmacy services and rostered afternoon shifts. Responsibilities include responding to enquiries, supplying drug information to patients and carers, preparing in-service lectures, reviewing current literature, and maintaining service statistics. You will be involved in manufacturing sterile and non-sterile products not commercially available, participating in aseptic dispensing and quality control, supervising packaging and labeling, and maintaining compliance with legal and departmental standards. In the pre-packaging area, you will oversee accurate assembly and documentation of packaged items.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy and current registration with AHPRA
- Post-graduate clinical experience in a health care setting
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads, work independently and in an inter-professional team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Record of ongoing professional development
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Pharmacy Inventory/Dispensing programs
