OD EATS is a new venture that is opening within One Drop Brewing Co. and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to run our kitchen. This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‐paced environment, brings strong standards, and enjoys building great food experiences alongside a growing hospitality business. You'll work closely with the Business operators and venue leadership to deliver consistent, high‐quality service and support the development of our food offering.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 4 years' experience working as a Sous Chef (or equivalent senior kitchen role)
* A current Supervisor's Certificate (RSA/Supervisor requirements as applicable)
* Strong knowledge of international cuisines
* Proven ability to lead a team during service and maintain high standards
* Strong organisation, communication, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities
* Lead service when required and ensure smooth execution across all sections
* Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
* Assist with prep planning, ordering, stock control, and waste management
* Train and support kitchen staff to improve skills and performance
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
* Contribute ideas for menu development and specials across international flavours
