About the Role
We're looking for a Transport Manager to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on transport leader to step into a group-wide role and make a real impact. You'll lead our transport team across the SOILCO Group while working side by side with allocators to drive efficient, high-performing operations.
This role suits someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. You'll be supporting the team, jumping into allocation when needed, and providing practical leadership that lifts capability and keeps operations running smoothly. Flexibility to travel between sites is essential.
What you'll bring:
* Strong subcontractor management experience (essential)
* A flexible approach to location, with the ability to work across multiple sites
* Experience in palletised and/or bulk transport (highly regarded)

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the transport team
* Ensure full regulatory compliance with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility, WHS, environmental and road transport law including monitoring driver fatigue
* Plan and coordinate transport operations
* Oversee fleet and transport performance
* Manage costs, stakeholders and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Skills
* Certificate IV or Diploma in Transport & Logistics or equivalent experience
* Unrestricted Australian driver's licence (HR preferred, HC or MC desirable)
* Desirable Heavy Vehicle Operations or Fleet Management Certifications
* Desirable Safety, Risk, or Chain of Responsibility (CoR) training certificates
* Desirable Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent
* Experience managing transport operations and leading a team of drivers & transport staff
