**Community Hub Lead**
The Community Hub Lead is a pivotal role in our Fellowship House location, overseeing the hub as a vibrant and welcoming space for visitors, participants, and community members. This position involves implementing a successful place-making project, utilizing asset-based community development principles to engage members, staff, and the Albany community.
This leader will be responsible for managing the operations and services of Albany Fellowship House, ensuring efficient use of resources to deliver high-quality, inclusive, and recovery-focused services. Reporting to the Psychosocial Outreach manager, this individual will work closely with Richmond Wellbeing's diverse support teams to embed a recovery-focused service model and identify business development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee high-quality service delivery, ensure compliance, and evaluate against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Facilitate consumer and family participation, participate in Quality Assurance, and recommend solutions.
Leadership and Management:
* Supervise and support staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide training and development opportunities.
* Facilitate team meetings to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and foster a positive team culture.
* Allocate resources cost-effectively, monitor financial performance, and report to leadership.
* Ensure compliance with procedures for financial transactions and petty cash management.
Networking and Business Development:
* Develop a revenue strategy, maintain partnerships, secure grants, and manage facility rentals.
* Identify outreach needs, support building renovations, and enhance program outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement and Management:
* Work with the Brand and Partnership team to boost engagement and represent the organization in external networks.
* Collaborate with partners on community strategies and build connections to support future service growth.
Recovery Program:
* Implement recovery program: Align with Richmond Wellbeing's Recovery Framework.
* Create and implement a Program Logic and Outcomes Measurement Framework based on the Theory of Change.
Community Development:
* Use Asset-Based Community Development principles to strengthen ties with the Albany community and achieve positive outcomes.
* Engage the community and members in planning the future development of the physical space.
This role requires strong leadership, networking abilities, and sound business acumen to ensure the hub's success and alignment with Richmond Wellbeing's values.
About Service:
Albany Fellowship House is a community drop-in centre that supports people who have experienced or are experiencing mental health distress as they navigate their journey of recovery.
Fellowship House is open to members and visitors between 10am and 1pm, offering a safe and non-judgmental place to socialise, seek one-to-one support from staff and participate in group activities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this role, you will possess:
* Relevant Tertiary Qualification and two years of relevant experience.

* Experience working on community development and/or placemaking projects.
* Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills with the capacity to manage deadlines, tight budgets, and pressure.
* Experience in managing budgets and optimising return on investment.
* Experience in social enterprise, with a focus on the retail industry.
* Understanding of and a passion for community building.
* Practical understanding of mental distress, recovery and person-centred, trauma-informed approaches to mental health service delivery.
* Demonstrated experience of service delivery and leadership in a mental health setting.
