As a Mechanical Engineer with BAE Systems Australia, you will be part of our innovative production engineering team reviewing engineering artefacts and identifying mechanical issues. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to address problems and provide solutions prior to production.
* Assist with engineering change reviews/design reviews on artifacts for manufacturing and assembly
* Advise and define production techniques respecting assembly capabilities
* Input into design for manufacturability
* Provide recommendations to identify defects in design artifacts
* Act as an engineering technical liaison between teams
The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical or structural design, preferably in a production environment. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
The DCE DDG upgrade program requires engineers who can advise on production techniques and assist with design reviews. If you have experience in mechanical drawings/artefacts and strong communication skills, this role could be an opportunity for you.
