James Transport (Aust) Pty Ltd is a family-owned and operated business, providing transport and warehousing solutions to Mildura, Victoria and surrounds for over 30 years. Their experienced team pride themselves in providing efficient and reliable service to cater for all their client's transport, warehousing and distribution needs.
The Role
We are currently seeking the positions of a long distance multi combination truck driver. Long distance destinations ex Mildura, Victoria to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Griffith and Brisbane. Deliveries and pickups include on-farm, supermarkets, markets, distribution centers and general warehouses/packhouses.
Key Responsibilities
* Loading/unloading of freight vehicles
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of road safety and compliance requirements
* Completion of required compliance documents
* Show pride in presentation and customer relations
* Keep your vehicle clean and presentable
* Some weekend work required
Qualifications and Experience
* Current MC or HC license
* Experience with tautliners, fridge vans, tankers and flat tops
* Basic fatigue training (preferred, but not essential)
* All applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment medical, license history printout and drug and alcohol testing
* Sunraysia Victoria based is preferred but not essential
* Must be available for 1 day per fortnight weekend scheduling
Successful applicants may progress into a full-time position after probationary period.
