Are you a passionate leader in sport and leisure looking to take the next step in your career? Glen Eira Leisure is seeking a skilled team Leader for our Sports and Leisure Programs to oversee competitions, events, and facility hire across three community-loved venues: Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre, Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool, and Caulfield Recreation Centre.
This is your opportunity to join a high-performing team and lead programs that have a genuine impact on community health, engagement and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of sporting competitions, events and non-aquatic programs
Manage staff rosters, referees, contractors and support teams
Oversee stadium and court hire, ensuring excellent stakeholder relationships
Drive operational excellence, safety, compliance and risk management
Track budgets, manage invoices and provide performance reporting
About you:
Experience in sports program management, event coordination, or leisure centre operations
Strong people leadership, mentoring and customer service skills
Comfortable with risk assessment, safety standards and compliance
Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
Familiarity with local government, recreation, or membership-based facilities
