About the Role:
The Department of Health is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead the delivery of complex ICT projects. As a key member of the Digital Health team, you will provide strategic direction and expert advice to drive key system reforms.
This role involves overseeing critical project and program components, guiding senior executives, and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement throughout the change process.
The Program Manager will be responsible for managing human, financial, and physical resources, providing leadership, direction, and guidance to a team, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Project Management: Lead the delivery of complex ICT projects, providing strategic direction and expert advice to drive key system reforms.

* Communication: Deliver high-quality reports, briefings, and ministerial correspondence within tight deadlines.
Requirements:
* Project Management Experience: Demonstrated specialist knowledge and extensive experience in project management.
* Leadership Skills: High level experience in, and proven ability to, manage human, financial, and physical resources, together with providing leadership, direction, and guidance to a team.
* Strategic Thinking: High level strategic, conceptual, analytical, and creative skills, demonstrating initiative and judgement in identifying issues, providing recommendations, and solutions.
* Interpersonal Skills: Highly developed interpersonal and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to negotiate, manage conflict, develop effective partnerships with staff, management, and key stakeholders.
