The Role
Reporting to a highly supportive General Counsel, you will work alongside a team of several lawyers supported by a Legal Assistant and Paralegal. The team advises on a diverse range of matters, and your work may include:
* Commercial contracts (supply, procurement and general advisory)
* Regulatory matters
* Policy development (including privacy, modern slavery and other frameworks)
* Compliance reporting to internal stakeholders, including to the global parent company
* Property matters
* FIRB compliance
* Insurance matters
* Maintaining and updating a contracts register
* Opportunity to support major projects led by the General Counsel
* Litigation involving the organisation
* Corporate M&A work
* Delivering training to operational teams (including sales and marketing) on compliance topics

* You're an admitted lawyer with a current Queensland practising certificate
* 3–6+ years PAE
