Offer description

* Become part of a proudly Australian-owned manufacturing organisation
* Be the voice that provides expertise to the end user
* Turn complex technical standards into clear, usable guidance for customers and internal teams

Weathertex is different because quality is designed in from the start, not checked at the end. And the same philosophy applies to our people.

This is a stable, long-term role within a proudly Australian-owned manufacturer, where you'll be supported to build a meaningful career, learn from highly skilled technical mentors, and grow your capability over time in a positive, down-to-earth and supportive culture.

If you're after a role where your experience is valued and your development genuinely matters, this is worth a closer look.

Some people build walls; you'll build confidence.

Confidence that products perform exactly as promised.

We're looking for a special kind of person.

The kind who keeps everything level, compliant and standing strong for years to come. Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people get it right.

You will be the product expert.

The keeper of specifications.

The trusted technical and customer support point of contact for builders, architects, certifiers and DIY customers who have "just one quick question".

You won't just answer queries. You'll listen, clarify, reassure and guide, ensuring every interaction leaves the customer confident, informed and supported.

Your role will include:

* Providing responsive, professional technical and customer support via phone and email.
* Reviewing, interpreting and applying the National Construction Code, identifying what is relevant to Weathertex systems.
* Translating complex compliance and technical detail into clear, practical advice customers can actually use.
* Drafting, updating and auditing technical manuals and instruction documents so they make sense in the real world.

Yes, there are manuals.

Yes, they matter.

And yes, someone needs to make sure customers understand how to use them correctly.

You'll help customers understand how Weathertex products fit into the broader building ecosystem, from internal and external walls through to rooflines, interfaces and finishes. Supporting them from enquiry through to installation.

About your new organisation

Weathertex has a rich history dating back to % Australian owned and manufactured, with a better-than-zero carbon footprint, Weathertex produces high-quality timber cladding, weatherboard and architectural panels trusted by builders, architects and designers globally.

This role offers genuine stability, autonomy and the opportunity to shape your own groove over time, while being a trusted technical voice for both customers and the business.

About you

You might be:

* A construction tradie coming off the tools (yes, those hot summer days), or
* Someone with a solid technical background gained within the building materials industry.

You likely:

* Know your way around nail guns, screws, fixings, paints or coatings.
* Enjoy figuring out how things work, and explaining them clearly and patiently to others.
* Take pride in providing great service, even when the question has been asked for the tenth time.
* Bring an inquisitive, solutions-focused mindset and a calm, helpful approach to problem-solving.

If you like the idea of being the person who keeps things straight and structurally sound, while building a long-term career in a supportive, values-led organisation, this might be worth nailing down.
