Cornwell Rural Contacting are a family owned & operated business based in Orange NSW.
We have two divisions, one being an intensive spot spraying business & the other a well established modern rural fencing business.
The spraying business is a close knit team of 7, including 3 Full Time Staff including the Director & a 2IC as well as 4 Casual Staff.
The spraying arm of the business take pride on a safe work approach with a modern fleet of Vehicles, Quikspray Units, Side-by-Side Spray Units, Trucks & soon Drones.
The fencing business is a two man crew operating the latest in fencing equipment to streamline the manual aspects of the job. We operate modern innovative equipment, including but not limited to a Skid Steer, Truck/s, Vehicles, Trailers & power tools.
We are currently seeking two motivated & able bodied employee's to complete the following:
* Leading Hand - Spot Spraying. After a short trail period with management team, you will become responsible for completing your own job with a casual offsider, completing a high standard of work, ensuring staff member under your responsibility is completing work to a high standard, maintaining company vehicle & spray rig as well as reporting all work completed to the Director or 2IC. This role is being offered as a 6 month contract (possibility to extend beyond) & will be offered based only on meeting most, if not all of the below criteria:
* Have relevant experience in spraying.
* Have relevant team leadership experience.
* Have worked in Rural or Outdoors environments.
* Strong communication & punctuality skills.
* Work cohesively alongside all existing staff.
* Ability to follow direct instructions from Management.
* Have or be willing to complete Chemcert Certificate.
* Any experience with Agricultural Drones an added advantage.
* Clean cut & respectable manner.
* Current Drivers License.
* Fencing Offsider/s. Whilst completing on the job training you will become responsible for ensuring tidy, efficient & clean work. You will learn a range of skills from welding to machinery operations. This is an ongoing role with career progression on offer for successful applicant/s on passing a three month trial. The following criteria is a must:
* Have worked in Rural or Outdoors environments.
* Strong communication & punctuality skills.
* Work cohesively alongside existing staff.
* Ability to follow direct instructions from Management.
* Clean cut & respectable manner.
* Current Drivers License.
We are offering training, above award wages & the opportunity to work outdoors on farms in the surrounding areas of Orange NSW.
If successful you will required to work weather permitting an 80 hour fortnight (8 day fortnight) on a rotating roster (no weekends). More work is available to the willing applicant.
Reliability is essential, no shows will not be tolerated.
