Coburg Structural Steel is a medium sized company and is looking for a competent and experienced Boilermaker in structural steel fabrication.
About the role:
You will be required to:
Read shop drawings
Oxy/Sawcutting
Drilling holes using magnetic drill
Lay out components to prepare for welding using mig/arc welder
Operate an overhead crane
Working as a team is essential
Work unsupervised
Qualifications required:
Certificate Ill in Engineering-Fabrication Trade
Drivers License
Experience:
Min.2yrs experience in fabricating of Structural Steel
Extensive knowledge in reading shop drawings
Skills:
Organised and able to meet deadlines
Communicate effectively with fellow workers to ensure project is completed within the time-frame required
Use initiative when working unsupervised
