Senior Safety Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving property-wide performance in public safety and security. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a high degree of flexibility and maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drove public safety and security by embedding security risk management processes and protocols throughout the organization.
* Led the emergency response team and ensured that IHG Incident Management processes were in place.
* Implemented and managed health and safety initiatives to maintain compliance with Australian standards.
* Developed and maintained relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
* Maintained accurate records and reports to track safety and security metrics.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in leading teams in a hotel environment.
* Knowledge of CCTV, fire control panel, access control systems, fire systems, and detectors.
* Certificate IV Work & Safety with a comprehensive understanding of WHS and the ability to identify and manage risks.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve operational issues.
* Current Queensland Security Licence.
* Current First Aid Certificate.
* Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management or Certificate III - Security Operations.
* Senior First Aid Certificate or higher.
* Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - QLD current.
* Current Queensland Driver's Licence.
