Roads and Transport Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Infrastructure Group dedicated to the development of new infrastructure, sustainable waste management, and the renewal of existing assets.
* Reporting to the Team Leader Roads and Transport, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of road and transport engineering services.
This position offers a blend of technical engineering, project funding work, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, excellent communication skills both written & verbal. Experience with civil engineering projects would be advantageous.
1. -Technical Advice: Provide expert advice on civil engineering matters including traffic management
-Community Engagement: Investigate concerns regarding road safety, footpath conditions parking etc.
-Funding & Grants: Contribute to applications for externally funded programs such as Black Spot Program
