Caregiver Role – Make a Daily Difference in the Community.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Casual Caregiver for a leading community care organization. As a Casual Caregiver, you will have the chance to make a real difference in people's lives by providing high-quality care and support services.
The role involves traveling throughout the Mareeba and Tablelands region to support multiple clients with their daily needs. You will be responsible for delivering compassionate care, domestic assistance, personal care support, and other essential services.
About the Job:
* Deliver empathetic care and support to clients in their homes or communities.
* Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, laundry, and changing bed linens.
* Assist clients with daily routines such as showering, dressing, and grooming.
* Travel extensively across the region to provide services to clients.
* Support clients with medication schedules and provide transport to medical and specialist appointments.
* Cook and assist with preparing nutritious meals for clients.
* Drive clients to social outings and help them stay connected with family and friends.
* Create meaningful moments and engage clients in enriching activities that enhance their quality of life.
Requirements:
* NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Blue Card – Working with Children.
* First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* Open Queensland Driver's Licence (P2 accepted if moving to opens in 1‑2 months).
* NDIS Orientation Module & Supporting Certificates.
* Driver Authority Card – eligible if held Aust license for 3 years.
* Medical Health Assessment.
* AFP National Police Check.
