The Opportunity
We're looking for a motivated Auditor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality audit, assurance, and advisory services that help drive strategic goals and continuous improvement.
You'll work across divisions, build strong relationships, and contribute to a customer-focused audit program. You'll also support key functions such as legislative compliance, delegation management, and audit follow-ups.

About You
You're a confident and capable professional with strong procurement knowledge and an understanding of the social, economic, and commercial factors that influence it. You communicate clearly, navigate complex issues, and work effectively with stakeholders to find practical solutions. You make sound decisions under pressure, manage competing priorities, and take a proactive, customer-focused approach. You're comfortable leading change, managing risk, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Special Conditions
* A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
* Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
Tenure of Vacancy
Temporary contract up to 12 months.
Remuneration
ASO5 - $85,790 to $95,413 pa + superannuation.
