Responsibilities
* Ensure the safety and security of the construction site during nighttime hours.
* Patrol the premises regularly, deterring and detecting unauthorized access.
* Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, promptly responding to any suspicious activities.
* Conduct thorough inspections of gates, fences, and other entry points to maintain a secure perimeter.
* Collaborate with the construction team to enforce safety protocols and prevent accidents.
* Keep detailed records of incidents, security checks, and any noteworthy occurrences.
Requirements
* Valid SIA approved work.
* Strong observational skills with the ability to detect potential risks or threats.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with the construction team and authorities when needed.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and react swiftly to emergencies.
* Physical fitness and willingness to conduct regular patrols on foot or using a provided vehicle.
* Proven experience as a security guard, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
