We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Consultant with a speciality in SAP HANA Application Security to join our client's team. This is a prime opportunity for an expert to take on complex projects, providing high-level consulting and contributing to the evolution of our security practices for client's SAP HANA environments. This is a full-time, on-site role (5 days a week) at client locations.
Your Responsibilities:
* Serve as an expert consultant for the implementation, configuration, and management of SAP HANA Application Security.
* Lead security assessments, identifying risks and developing robust mitigation strategies for SAP HANA systems.
* Collaborate directly with clients to understand their unique security requirements and design custom solutions.
* Deliver training and workshops to share knowledge with both clients and internal teams.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in SAP HANA application security.
* Contribute to the development of new methodologies, tools, and processes for SAP HANA security.
* Support business development by providing technical expertise and cost estimates for project bids.
* Travel to client sites for project implementations and on-site consultations as needed.
Required technical and professional expertise:
* Applicants must hold a minimum Baseline security clearance and be able to achieve NV1 clearance.
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
* Proven experience (7+ years) as a consultant or in a similar role focused on SAP HANA Application Security.
* In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA system architecture, database security, and user authorisation concepts.
* Expertise in implementing and managing security controls such as Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), and data encryption.
* Experience with SAP HANA security tools, including SAP HANA Cockpit, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
* A solid understanding of key industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
* The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
* Relevant certifications in SAP HANA.
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA or Cloud Platform.
* Knowledge of threat modeling and secure coding practices.
* Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies.
