Responsibilities
A General Front of House Volunteer will be required to meet, greet and give directions or escort if required, visitors and patients to their destination in the hospital. You will at times be required to approach and assist people who may be unsure of where they are going and provide companionship to those waiting in the lobby area. Other duties include ensuring there is an adequate supply of wheelchairs in foyer area, assisting patients and visitors in booking taxis and checking of taxis on arrival, providing information on bus and train timetables to and from the hospital and general tidying up of main foyer/reception.
