The Role:
We're looking for a dynamic and ambitious Senior Account Manager / Junior Account Director with a strong track record in experiential and brand activation. In this role, you'll lead fully integrated campaigns and brand experiences for a portfolio of exciting, market-leading clients, bringing creativity and strategy to life at every touchpoint.
Reporting to the Client Services Director, you'll be a trusted senior client partner and a driver of account growth, leading strategic direction across your accounts while mentoring and inspiring the team around you. Key Responsibilities:
* Build and nurture strong client relationships, driving exceptional service, retention, profitability, and expansion — always aiming to exceed expectations.
* Own end-to-end delivery of standout brand experience campaigns, ensuring strategy, creative, execution, budgets, and KPIs all hit the mark.
* Partner closely with the Production team to bring platforms, events, and brand experiences to life — on time, on budget, and with impact.
* Lead and develop key client accounts, spotting opportunities to expand scope and revenue while smoothly onboarding new clients.
* Collaborate with the MD and CSD to shape and implement annual CDP's, proactively identifying long-term growth opportunities across your accounts.
* Drive new business development across existing and prospective clients, leading RTB responses from brief to pitch, including credentials meetings, strategic thinking, creative collaboration, and final presentation delivery.
* Lead account financial management across your account portfolio, owning forecasting, profitability, and revenue targets, while ensuring strong project management across all projects.
* Contribute positively to team culture, actively mentoring Account Managers/Coordinators and supporting their development, while championing Yakusan's values, energy, and ways of working.
* Provide clear direction, delegation, and oversight across campaign teams, ensuring team members are set up for success and delivering to a high standard.
What You Bring:
* At least 6+ years' experience in an account service role with a proven track record as a Senior Account Manager, delivering client growth, retention, and integrated campaigns.
* Experience managing multi-disciplinary campaigns across experiential, branding, graphic design, media, PR, digital/social, content, and sponsorship.
* Strong leadership capability with experience guiding junior team members, alongside financial acumen and exceptional communication skills.
* Creative and strategic thinker with sharp conceptual skills and a knack for problem-solving that turns ideas into impactful campaigns.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in everything you do.
* A collaborative, upbeat, and positive team player who contributes to a fun, high-energy agency culture and builds great relationships with colleagues and clients.
* Experience working with alcohol brands and an understanding of the Australian liquor and hospitality market essential for this role.
