Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Payroll/Accounts Officer to join their NFP organisation on a temporary basis. You will be processing payroll for 200 employees on a fortnightly basis. This role would also require you to jump into the accounts team and assist with general accounting tasks. Based in Ipswich, on site parking available, leave cover for 2+ months.
The Role
* Processing end to end payroll for approx. 200 employees fortnightly
* Set up of new employees and maintaining records
* Respond to payroll related queries
* Leave and entitlement calculations
* Assisting the accounts team when required
* Ensure proper maintenance of financial records and accounting systems
* Assist with any ad-hoc duties as requested
About You
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proficient in payroll and financial software
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Great customer service
* Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
