Overview
As a Recruitment Officer at MACSEYE, you will join a busy team with a shared focus on recruitment and administrative support. You will be at the heart of our talent acquisition strategy, collaborating with hiring managers to identify and select top candidates, ensure a smooth recruitment process, and support daily operations with reporting and administration — all in compliance with employment laws, sector regulations, and company policies. This is a fixed-term 12 month contract in a hybrid role (3 days in East Melbourne, 2 remote) in a supportive team. This role suits someone with incredible attention to detail, who enjoys variety and takes initiative.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and candidate profiles
- Utilise diverse sourcing methods to attract potential candidates and conduct initial screenings
- Coordinate interviews, evaluate candidates through assessments, and extend job offers
- Champion daily operations with administration support to the Recruitment Manager, other Recruitment Officers, and Recruitment Administrator
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field (preferred) with proven recruitment and administration experience
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, especially in high-volume settings, ideally in a related sector
- Proficient in ATS use and knowledgeable about employment laws
- Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to confidentiality
- Ongoing permanent full-time Australian work rights
