Cisco Security Specialist Position
A top-tier organization is seeking a skilled and proactive security specialist with expertise in Cisco security solutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well-structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot complex network security systems, including Cisco WSA, Umbrella, and ESA solutions.
* Support administration and integration of Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
* Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) strategies using Microsoft GSA or similar platforms.
* Manage and optimize service workflows in ServiceNow, including incident, problem, and change management within the Security Operations module.
* Conduct vulnerability scanning, assessment, remediation coordination, and risk reporting.
* Participate in security incident response and forensic analysis as needed.
* Continuously monitor security infrastructure to identify and respond to threats.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
* Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure security best practices across the organization.
* Contribute to security audits, compliance initiatives, and internal risk assessments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience with Cisco WSA, Umbrella, and ESA.
* Experience with Cisco FMC and Cisco ISE configuration and troubleshooting.
* Strong understanding of network protocols, proxy configurations, DNS-layer security, and mail filtering.
* Familiarity with ZTNA frameworks, especially using Microsoft GSA or similar solutions.
* Working knowledge of ServiceNow Security Operations, or ITSM processes in a security context.
* Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar.
* Solid grasp of firewall, endpoint protection, identity management, and SIEM systems.
