Job Summary
Job description Planning, curating and coordinating internally curated and touring exhibitions, including object selection, exhibition design, installation and de-installation. Managing administrative and curatorial processes such as contracts, transport, insurance and WHS procedures for exhibitions and cultural programs. Overseeing the Regional Artist Program, including promotional activities, application processes and adjudication. Supporting collection management through registration processes, research, digitisation and maintaining content for online collection portals. Supervising curatorial staff, coordinating communication, and fostering strong working relationships with community and cultural sector stakeholders.

Curator Role Overview
Join us as a Curator in our Arts and Culture branch and develop your skills and future career. As our new Curator you will make an impact by being responsible for leading the development, delivery and management of exhibitions and cultural programs across the Dubbo region. They would coordinate exhibition planning, installation and documentation, manage the Regional Artist Program, and support collection management and digitisation activities. The role also involves building strong relationships with artists and stakeholders, contributing to public art initiatives, overseeing WHS processes, and supervising staff involved in curatorial and exhibition tasks.
