Key Job Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of properties on behalf of a government entity.
* Identify areas of risk and opportunity in relation to maintenance and capital works, develop and implement plans to achieve commercial targets and optimize lifecycle cost of facilities and/or assets.
* Support the delivery of property asset management team's asset business plans and all other strategic and asset planning initiatives.
* Analyze regular call-outs, reactive maintenance, and other requests to inform respective departments to asset maintenance plans and preventative maintenance schedules.
* Provide technical, facilities management, and asset maintenance support as the first point of contact.
* Monitor and direct contractor performance to ensure that all contracts are executed to scope.
* Support contract compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Assist with audits and inspections.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with agency staff, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
* Proven project management skills, including planning, execution, and delivery.
* Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including agency staff, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Current driver's license.
