About the role
Join our dynamic team at Medical Dental Solutions' as a Stores Assistant in our Townsville Warehouse. In this part-time role, we are offering 32 hours p/ week for the right candidate. This role will suit a self- motivated, hands on individual who enjoys a variety of duties.
What you'll be doing
* Receiving, unpacking and storing incoming stock deliveries
* Performing regular stocktakes and inventory management to maintain accurate records
* Picking and packing orders for dispatch to our customers
* Delivery of local orders to customers
* Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse environment
* General warehousing duties
* Assist with other branch duties when required
* Assisting technicians with delivery of equipment (some heavy lifting involved)
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a stores or warehousing role. This would be highly regarded but is not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
* Forklift experience is a positive but not necessary. Training will be provided.
