About the Organisation
Our client is a Federal Government department looking to engage an APS6 Program/Project Officer to support the delivery of their Graduate and Entry Level Programs.
About the Role
The position is essential to the successful delivery of recruitment and program management activities for the department as well as to provide assistance in delivering and implementing a review of entry-level programs.
The Graduate and Entry Level Program Directorate supports organisational workforce capability through the management of the department's early career recruitment programs.
Position Objective/s and/or Duty Statement:
Contribute to the development and delivery of People projects, strategies and initiatives against plans to achieve business outcomes.
Accountable to research, develop and provide verbal and written advice on complex People issues to support internal and external stakeholders.
Work collaboratively in a team based workplace actively participating in and contributing to team meetings, and supporting the work area and team objectives.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to service delivery of People functions across the department.
Skills and Experience
experience in managing programs and projects to provide advice, direction and achieve outcomes;
experience in providing administrative support;
experience in supporting HR programs including mentoring and linking activities to the organisation's strategic drivers;
highly effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills to shape delivery outcomes;
experience in writing and coordinating high level documents; and
ability to identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
