THE POSITION:
This is a fantastic and rare opportunity for the Head Chef position at The Grove Tavern, Surrey Downs.
You will work with, lead and develop our experienced team of chefs and apprentices, writing menus for the Hotel, functions and events catering. You'll order stock with flexibility from a range of nominated suppliers, providing hands on meal service to our customers and ensuring the overall success of the food service operations.
If you've completed your Australian Apprenticeship, have great leadership skills, a sound understanding of the various elements of cooking and cooking techniques, purchasing, menu coordination, menu construction, preparation, food safety and management then we're looking for you.

The Grove Tavern is a family owned venue in Adelaide's north-eastern suburbs, offering a vibrant mix of dining, functions, sports bar, gaming, and bottle shop. With a strong reputation for quality food, excellent service, and a friendly team culture.
We're currently investing in a major extension of the venue with a new beer garden and updated sports bar, setting us up as the north-east's premier destination. It's an exciting time to join the team and be part of the growth, with plenty of opportunities to learn, develop, and have fun along the way.
