The CQ Friendly Society Limited, a mutual society based in Central Queensland, is seeking nominations for vacancies on the Board of the CQ Friendly Society (The Society).
The Society is a leading provider of primary health services (pharmacy) and assistive technology products and are committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of our community.
We are looking for an individual who shares our values and vision for quality, innovation, and community service.
This is a remunerated Board and there are up to two (2) vacanciesto be filled.
The Board is looking for specific experience in information technology (with particular emphasis on AI) and general retail/marketing, however relevant skills and experience outside of these areas will also be welcomed.
About the Role Contribute to the strategic direction and governance of the organisation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal obligations.

Work collaboratively with a diverse and skilled Board and executive team.
Who We're Looking For Experience in governance, strategy, or leadership roles with preference to those who have experience in Information Technology and general retail/marketing environments.

High ethical standards and a collaborative approach.
Previous board experience is desirable but not essential.
Previous board experience and AICD or GIOA membership would be well regarded as would knowledge of the operations of a mutual society.
These are remunerated board positions which are approved by members at the AGM held in November.
