This role is part of the Technology, Data & Digital (TDD) group who are at the forefront of digital delivery and technology innovation for News Corp Australia.

**Role Responsibilities** 
- Overall responsibility for the domain architecture strategy and overall architecture for all programs, projects and initiatives under the Data platform domain. 
- Model the future state of the data architecture and provide data architecture best practices and guidelines. 
- Provide thought and execution leadership to enable NCA to make the most of emerging technologies and opportunities such as Generative AI. 
- Solution Architecture & Design of all solutions and technology under the data platform domain. 
- Creation of the current and future state architectures and architecture roadmap for the in-scope domain. 
- Creation of architecture standards and patterns that create efficiency gains, re-use and agility into our systems, processes and delivery. 
- Alignment of the Data platform domain to the News Architecture Governance process. 
- Alignment of Data platform Domain to Global Technology Strategy & Blueprints. 
- Engagement with key stakeholders to ensure solution architecture and design meets business priorities and outcomes. 
- Lead & nurture a high performing delivery culture comprising engaged and empowered employees. Includes mentoring, training and hiring of appropriate skills. 
- Identify new technologies and foster innovation within the technology domains.
**Skills and Experience** 
- 10+ years Architectural and Design experience specifically in the data domain 
- 5+ Technical experience including Data platforms (e.g. data warehouse, data lake (e.g. GCP), reporting and analytics platforms, AI/ML, knowledge of CDP/DMP technology) 
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders 
- Leading large scale initiatives and designing and delivering programs 
- Media industry experience preferred (or other applicable subscription-based industry e.g. telco, other consumer focussed industries) 
- Experience in a fast-paced large complex organisation 
- Management of IT teams with a strong focus on the achievement of key deliverables with the ability to lead & coach technical teams and deliver business outcomes
