About the Role
As a Senior Manager, you will lead a portfolio of diverse clients and guide a growing team of accountants. You will provide high‐level technical support, review complex work, and contribute to the ongoing development of the firm's people and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns across individuals, companies, partnerships and superannuation funds.
* Provide technical guidance on accounting, taxation and compliance matters.
* Research and prepare written tax and advisory reports.
* Train, supervise and mentor junior, intermediate and senior accountants.
* Support clients with the use and administration of their accounting systems.
* Stay abreast of legislative changes and ATO interpretations that may impact client work.
* Communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Contribute to a positive team culture and support shared success.
About You
* 3+ years' experience as Team Supervisor or Manager level in Business Services within an Australian public practice firm.
* CA or CPA qualification.
* Strong technical and analytical capability.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
* A proactive, collaborative working style.
* Experience with Xero, BGL 360 and MYOB AE (highly regarded).
