Our Spray Painters are primarily responsible for responsible for spray painting and sand blasting trailers and other equipment in a timely, safe and high-quality manner. This position is/includes: Full-time permanent role. Fortnightly Tool Allowance. Free parking. Immediate Start. Key Responsibilities: Sand blasting to specification. Must be able to follow paint specifications and documentation. Examining surfaces to be treated. Preparing and mixing paints and any other substances to be applied. Checking the finished item. Must be able to follow safety procedures and monitor quality control. Spray paint and sand blast road transport equipment. Preparing surfaces for paint application. Mix and colour match paints to meet the requirements of the job. Brush touch, paint/blend any defective areas of coated items. Clean work areas and spray equipment. To ensure all work is carried out to company policies and procedures. Adhere to workplace safety requirements and always use PPE correctly. Skills & Experience: Previous experience with painting or blasting. Passion to learn painting and blasting activities. Knowledge of using hand tools safely. Hold a current LF (forklift) license or willing and able to obtain one. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
