Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of coffee preparation, delivers excellent customer service, and can confidently work in a fast-paced café environment. This role requires consistency, efficiency, and a passion for quality coffee.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks, coffee, and beverages
* Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
* Ensure consistency in drink quality, presentation, and taste
* Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries professionally
* Accurately take orders and process payments using POS systems
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar, cafe, and workstations
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
* Assist with inventory, stocking, and opening/closing procedures
* Support and guide junior baristas when needed
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum [1–2+] years of barista experience required
* Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and drink recipes
* Experience with commercial espresso machines
* Ability to work efficiently during busy hours
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
* Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
