Job Overview
Our client is a global leader in high-performance laser cutting, engraving and industrial marking systems, supplying advanced equipment across manufacturing, signage, fabrication, engineering and related sectors. With their Victorian representative moving on, they are seeking an autonomous Territory Sales Manager to take ownership of the region and drive revenue growth across a large, established customer base. This is a relationship-driven, solutions-focused role where attitude and proactivity matter just as much as technical understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a territory sales plan for Victoria
* Prospect, qualify and manage opportunities across SMBs, workshops and industrial manufacturers
* Conduct product demonstrations, presentations and ROI discussions (virtual and onsite)
* Prepare customised proposals, quotes and solution packages
* Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
* Build relationships with new customers while nurturing existing accounts
* Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasting and reporting
* Coordinate with technical, service, marketing and customer support teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Attend training sessions, industry events and occasional interstate product training
* Promote additional consumables, accessories and service contracts
About You:
* Sales experience in capital equipment, CNC machinery, industrial machinery or similar B2B technology
* Strong relationship-building skills with a solutions-selling mindset
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skillsTechnically minded – able to understand machinery capabilities and customer applications
* Proactive, hungry to learn, and motivated to drive sales growth
* CRM experience (Salesforce ideal) and good computer literacy
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across Victoria
