As a Business Analyst for the Specimen Tracking Application, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of this high-priority project.
The Alfred Health and Monash Health partnership aims to deliver a Shared Pathology Service as part of the Victorian Government's Pathology system reform. The pathology programs are working together to meet future demands and provide high-quality pathology services across the health services.
About the Role
This is a 6-month fixed-term position working full-time at 80 hours per fortnight (part-time applications welcome). You will be an Alfred Health appointment and report directly to the Specimen Tracking Application Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with the Shared LIS Pathology Project team
* Contribute to large-scale complex enterprise-wide projects from start to finish
* Provide specialist application and implementation leadership for Cerner or similar clinical information systems
You will have the opportunity to work on projects that impact staff migration and contribute to delivering digital transformation initiatives beyond the LIS.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional/business experience
* Certification in a Project Management methodology (PRINCE2 preferred)
* Demonstrated experience in contributing to large-scale complex projects in a healthcare setting
* Proven experience in providing application and implementation leadership for Cerner or similar clinical information systems
