Reporting to the President – Chief Commercial Officer, this critical leadership role will shape and execute Vitaco’s IS strategy to support business growth and operational excellence. You will lead a team of 13 IS professionals and collaborate with key stakeholders and external partners to drive automation, innovation, and high-quality project delivery across the business.
The Role
As the Head of Information Systems, you will lead the development, execution, and ongoing enhancement of Vitaco’s technology strategy. This includes responsibility for system performance, digital enablement, cybersecurity, infrastructure reliability, and business application optimisation (ERP, BI, CRM). You’ll also oversee IS project delivery, vendor relationships, and service desk performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and drive the group IS strategy to align with and support the company's strategic business plans.
Pursue automation and efficiency across all business areas through digital transformation and continuous improvement.
Oversee and implement an AI strategy to enhance business operations and drive innovation.
Provide guidance on best practices, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Collaborate with business managers to optimize operational performance using the ERP system, BI application, CRM, and other essential applications.
Oversee data center operations and maintain company IT architecture and infrastructure.
Lead and navigate the business’ next wave of growth with strategy and execution of technology solutions that transform customer experience.
Ensure robust IT processes, policies, and procedures are in place to guarantee reliability, security, and integrity while leveraging contemporary technologies.

You are a forward-thinking technology leader with a proven track record in managing complex systems, developing and leading digital transformation across complex and growing FMCG or manufacturing environments. Qualifications & Competencies
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong mix of technical expertise, leadership capability, innovative and strategic thinking, including:
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification at Bachelor's level or above in a relevant discipline.
10+ years of IS management experience in a medium to large FMCG business.
Experience in a manufacturing business and ERP applications in an FMCG environment.
Proven track record in managing IS vendors and delivering digital initiatives.
Strong project management and change leadership skills with 10+ years of experience.
