Job Title
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Weighbridge/Admin Support. This position involves working closely with the Quarry Supervisor and the office-based administration support team.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Monitor and allocate trucks as required, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
* Operate computerized weighbridge systems and other work-related systems with accuracy and precision.
* Assist with HSE compliance and participate in company Safety Programs, maintaining a safe system of work in the workplace.
* Comply with safety instructions relating to personnel entering site and communication, prioritizing the safety of all individuals involved.
* Provide project support to the quarry and concrete sites, ensuring seamless integration and timely completion of tasks.
* Enter jobs into weighbridge and deactivate old jobs, accurately tracking and managing data.
* Check sales emails for tender opportunities, identifying potential leads and business prospects.
* Prepare quotes for internal and external customers, providing exceptional customer service and meeting client expectations.
* Assist with general administrative/quarry tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
* High level of administration to the Management team, particularly with reporting and meeting deadlines.
* Ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers and stakeholders, building strong relationships and fostering trust.
* Be very organized, have great interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in administration and logistics operations, with a proven track record of delivering results and achieving goals.
* Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing workload efficiently.
* Advanced computer skills along with well-developed organization skills, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
* Previous Weighbridge experience is highly valued, with a demonstrated understanding of industry standards and best practices.
