Critical Care Registrars provide direct clinical services in a dynamic work environment, working as a team member within a major regional trauma retrieval centre.

The primary role of Critical Care Registrars is to provide direct care to patients in the Critical Care Department. The positions will provide clinical management and consultation service to all patients either under direct supervision or supported by Intensive Care Consultants.

Critical Care Registrars engage in quality assurance activities within the Critical Care Department.

Key responsibilities include:

* Providing direct clinical services to patients
* Engaging in quality assurance activities

Critical Care Registrars assist and promote strategies that ensure duties are performed within legislative / policy / guideline compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

* A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) recognised by Australia's medical curriculum
* Valid registration with AHPRA - General or Level 3+ Supervision levels
* Australian citizenship or eligibility for a visa with appropriate working provisions
* PGY4+, with significant experience in an Australian Critical Care Department or equivalent with Paediatric and adult clinical experience
