- **ABOUT THE ROLE**_
Working alongside the Project Manager, you will oversee all onsite construction activities ensuring each project is delivered on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for delivering projects with the highest attention to detail and minimum defects, ensuring quality assurance processes are followed and maintained throughout every stage of construction.
To be successful in this role you will have recent experience as a **Foreperson / Supervisor **on commercial projects from $10m+.
For this role in particular, you will be based in the Gold Coast starting off on a 12 month long project initially with ongoing work throughout the greater Brisbane area.
Similar opportunities in other states and territories exist and Aquatic Project Solutions also welcome applicants who are willing to travel and/or relocate for other projects.
**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Provide site supervision to trades persons and subcontractors.
- Oversee all site safety and ensure staff and contractors comply with HSE policies and procedures.
- Co-ordinate the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to a high quality whilst adhering to statutory and contractual obligations.
- Interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Be responsible for the checking and accuracy of dimensional measurements, both horizontal and vertical, of all structures.
- Provide direction, advice and assistance to trades and subcontractors on technical issues.
- Evaluate and help determine appropriate construction delivery systems and the most cost effective plan and schedule for completing projects.
- Be responsible for the procurement of supplies and equipment, the regular maintenance of plant equipment and the overall security of the site.
- Complete the preparation and submission of required QA, HSE, Project Reporting and attending all site meetings as required.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in site supervision of commercial construction projects, ideally with experience within the aquatics industry or previous exposure to similar projects.
- Have the ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Have sound knowledge and understanding of legislative and best practice HSE policies; quality management good practice and how this relates to project delivery; the principles of project planning, including critical path, key dates, target and contractual programmes; good knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards; contract terms and conditions; industrial relations.
- Literacy of Microsoft Office and Project Suite.
- Ability to communicate clearly with others while working autonomously.

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
