Commercial Law Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a commercial law specialist. We are seeking a talented individual with expertise in general commercial law, intellectual property, and franchising to provide expert guidance on a range of matters.
Responsibilities:
* Drafting and Advising
o We require the successful candidate to draft and advise on dealer agreements within the automotive industry, including related documents such as franchise policies, manuals, and franchising code documentation.
o The ideal candidate will also be responsible for providing expert guidance on franchising code compliance matters.
* Negotiating and Drafting
o They will negotiate and draft IP licenses and handle assignments.
o Additionally, they will work on IT and Tech Agreements, including SaaS Agreements, and draft Terms and Conditions for marketplace platforms.
* Contract Management
o The successful candidate will handle distribution agreements, supply agreements, and trading terms.
o They will also offer advice on consumer law and privacy matters.
Requirements:
* A lawyer (2+PQE) with a proven track record in general commercial law, IPT, and franchising with strong academic results.
* Relevant legal qualification/admission.
