About the Role
As our Senior Relationship Partner, you will play a key role in stimulating domestic and international tourism demand by strengthening strategic partnerships and driving commercial outcomes.
You will build and enhance relationships with inbound tour operators, wholesalers, retail and day tour partners, and Online Travel Agents (OTAs), while representing Nature Parks at trade events, missions, and industry forums.
Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will provide high-level market insights, support strategic sales initiatives, and ensure Nature Parks is professionally represented across all channels. Your work will directly contribute to increased visitation, sustainable revenue growth, and the expansion of our tourism footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with tourism operators to drive sustainable business growth.
Strengthen engagement with inbound, wholesale, retail, day tour operators and OTAs through proactive communication and targeted sales strategies.
Support the Sales Manager with market intelligence, reporting, visitation analytics and strategic planning.
Represent Nature Parks at major domestic and international tourism events, functions and sales missions.
Coordinate key sales functions including itinerary development, rate analysis, collateral preparation, familiarisation programs and sales enquiries.
Enhance and grow OTA partnerships nationally.
Develop and coordinate cruise ship partnerships through key DMCs, leveraging existing relationships and growing new business.
Manage and expand cruise ship relationships, leveraging existing networks and developing new business opportunities.
Act as a strong organisational ambassador supporting events, promotions, and industry activity.
About You
You bring deep experience in tourism partnerships, destination marketing or sales, ideally with over ten years' experience including five at a senior level. You are a confident communicator, negotiator and relationship builder with a strong commercial mindset.
You thrive in autonomous roles, represent an organisation with professionalism, and enjoy engaging with partners across diverse markets and cultures.
You are analytically minded, adaptable, and collaborative, with excellent presentation skills and an ability to build trusted relationships that deliver measurable outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
Extensive sales experience (10+ years), including at least 5 years at a senior level.
Experience within the tourism industry, preferably in partnership management or destination marketing.
Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation capabilities.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
High-level communication and customer relationship skills.
Ability to work independently and travel domestically and internationally as required.
Tertiary qualifications in Tourism, Marketing or Business Management (required).
Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, valid driver's licence, and First Aid Level II with CPR.

Key Selection Criteria
Extensive sales experience (10+ years) with 5 years at a senior level and demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
Experience within the tourism industry, preferably in senior experience in partnership management or destination marketing.
Proven negotiation skills, with the ability to secure maximum results for the organisation and its partners.
Desirable to have knowledge of the Phillip Island Nature Parks, including facilities, attractions, visitor services, and product offerings.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and communications.

Ability to work autonomously and travel as required, representing Nature Parks in a professional and confident manner across a variety of industry and partner events.
