Job Title: Mobile Equipment Technician
CJD Equipment is seeking an experienced Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team in the Tamworth region. As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various Volvo construction machines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment
* Diagnostics and repair of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults
* Work independently in the field to complete scheduled and unscheduled servicing and repairs
* Utilize computer-based diagnostic tools and parts catalogues
* Coordinate bookings and communicate directly with customers
About You:
* A relevant trade qualification (Diesel / Heavy Plant Mechanic) & MR Licence
* Experience with earthmoving and construction equipment (Volvo Construction Equipment experience highly regarded)
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow
* Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding, and diagnostic skills
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
